Anza Borrego: Physics
While working on the Soda Can Stove I learned that the Alcohol
will not light if you do not properly make enough space for the
flame to light the alcohol. Something I thought was pretty good
about the stove was that it was quite hot when it finally lit. Though
I think I could have designed the holes better, as I said, It was difficult
lighting the alcohol.

My Mint Tin Headlamp was really difficult, probably the most difficult
one of all the products. The wiring was difficult as I had never worked
with wires before.
Luckily I was able to finish the Headlamp before the due date and managed
to keep it working throughout the trip.
Although I do wish I'd done some more work with it's source of power.
The Solar Oven worked really well cooking the burritos that were inside it. During Exhibition last year we had a project that involved making one of these "Solar Ovens". So I used the previous knowledge of success and failures to make a better Solar Oven. Luckily I had all the right supplies so I was able to make it quickly, although the loose top part of the oven could have been fixed.

Exhibition 2013-2014: Physics
For Exhibition of 2013 we had created Mini-Golf courses. Each course had a certain physics concept, our course had Friction as it's concept. We also had other concepts such as Spaghettification, Centripetal Force, Momentum and even Schrodinger's Cat.
The Golf Course, Frickle Frackle Friction being played.

We built these courses out of recyclable materials, so it would be an (almost) waste free exhibition! This idea worked out very well as most group's courses recycled about 85%-100% of their course!
We didn't just choose any product, but we had certain items to build our golf course out of. My group had Take-Out Containers. So once we chose those we focused on that material as our main material. Obviously we had other materials like duct tape, but that wasn't our main product.

Dogs and Cats
This is out latest and final project of the year! For this project we will be researching and construction doghouses or cat poles that use either an Eco-Friendly or Physics concept. We began with blueprints and prototypes to begin. There are two products due, a triptych and a built product.
The triptych is a three sided image that portrays a single piece of art, that we have the choice to represent anything with. I chose to show the "Anti Puppy-Mill" kind of propaganda you see sometimes in a comical kind of way. I also received nice critique that I will definitely take and use for my final draft.
Our building of the doghouse began yesterday on the 27th of May. Since then we have made great progress, including the frames near-completion. All it's missing is half the walls and a quarter of the flooring, which is great for simple two days
